Overview

To help drive ActiveState’s next stage of growth of our SaaS platform, we are seeking energetic, results-oriented Business Development Representatives (BDR) to identify new business. Reporting to the CRO, the BDR is responsible for lead generation, communicating the value proposition of the Enterprise Tier offering of our ActiveState Platform and creating opportunities for senior AEs.

In Short

  • This position is 100% remote from anywhere in North America.
  • Drive sales in a fast-growing B2B SaaS business.
  • Increase revenues by finding new customers.
  • Maximize outbound lead to demo conversion rate.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales team.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and social media.
  • Build and manage strategic lists of prospects.
  • Communicate the value proposition effectively.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of ongoing campaigns.
  • Work in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in sales or prior BDR experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • High energy, proactive, curious self-starter.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident approach to cold calling.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong cyber research and analysis skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships globally.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
