Overview

As a key member of Action1’s Business Development team, you’ll play a critical role in fueling Action1’s growth by owning the top of the sales funnel in a startup environment.

In Short

  • Prospect into target accounts through high-volume outbound motion (calls, email, LinkedIn).
  • Prioritize and qualify leads based on defined ICP (200+ endpoints focus).
  • Conduct cold outreach, with a strong emphasis on cold calling.
  • Identify and engage the right personas within accounts.
  • Collaborate with AEs to generate qualified pipeline.
  • Research accounts and craft thoughtful, personalized messaging.
  • Test and iterate on outreach strategies, messaging, and workflows.
  • Contribute ideas to improve team processes, tooling, and approach.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline hygiene in CRM.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in sales or business development preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Proven ability to conduct cold outreach.
