Overview

The Head of Sales at Acolad is responsible for driving profitable growth and achieving new business targets by leading and developing the LSC Business Development team, focusing on executing strategic objectives and expanding the customer base.

In Short

  • Contribute to setting and meeting BU Business Plan objectives.
  • Ensure alignment with the BU Business Plan within the LSC Business Development team.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting/budgeting.
  • Support business growth and financial objectives.
  • Oversee and expand the company’s customer base.
  • Continuously refine strategy for new client acquisition.
  • Master the ACOLAD service and solutions portfolio.
  • Monitor market activity and identify emerging trends.
  • Lead salespeople across Europe and the US.
  • Ensure collaboration with Account Management and Solution Management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Success in leading high-performing sales teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience in life sciences is desirable.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business alignment skills.
  • Excellent presentation and proposal writing capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and close large deals.
  • Expertise in sales forecasting and budgeting.
  • Exceptional people management and mentoring skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
