Overview

The Corporate Business Development team is responsible for generating new business by closing and launching Enterprise level accounts. The team manages the entire sales cycle - from prospecting and qualifying through negotiation and signature. Business Development is also heavily involved in new partner launches, in partnership with the assigned Account Manager, to ensure long-term success of the account.

In Short

  • Identify and build relationships with Enterprise-level service professionals nationwide.
  • Continuously prospecting, qualifying and selling new opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Collaborating with leaders of these companies to gain interest in new partnership opportunities.
  • Crafting creative solutions that address prospect needs.
  • Partnering with Account Management counterparts for successful launches.
  • Meet minimum requirements of at least 5 accounts launched per quarter.
  • Accounts must meet initial bundle requirements or $100k annual spend.
  • Create and present business solutions to executives.
  • Work professionally with all departments across the organization.
  • Communicate status of prospecting and negotiations to leadership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience or similar revenue-generating role.
  • Enterprise or strategic sales experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge or work experience in the home services industry.
  • Results-driven with a passion to meet and exceed goals.
  • Business acumen and desire to learn about partners’ industries.
  • Confident, strategic thinker with research skills.
  • Ability to overcome roadblocks with creative solutions.
  • Keep up with industry trends and adapt sales techniques.
  • Tactful and resilient in challenging situations.
  • Receptive to coaching and quick to adapt.
  • Some travel required, 10-15%.
