Overview

The Senior SQL Software Engineer will develop complex SQL queries and design database architectures, ensuring scalability and high availability for a leading insurance solutions provider in the DACH region.

In Short

Develop complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and reporting.
Create and maintain database schemas, tables, and stored procedures.
Monitor and improve data quality through validation rules.
Optimize SQL queries for performance and reliability.
Support regulatory data flows for compliance.
Build scalable data pipelines using Azure services.
Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers.
8+ years of professional experience required.
Experience with MS SQL and performance optimization.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

Experience in working with MS SQL.
Root cause analysis on data and processes.
Experience with stored procedures and performance optimization.
Proactive approach to design solutions.
Knowledge of processing large datasets.
Advanced English language skills.
Knowledge of reporting tools like PowerBI or Tableau (nice to have).
Backend Development: .NET (nice to have).
Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD Pipelines).
