Overview

The Senior SQL Software Engineer will be responsible for developing complex SQL queries and database architectures to support a leading insurance solutions provider in the DACH region while working remotely.

In Short

Develop complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and reporting.
Create and maintain database schemas and architectures.
Optimize SQL queries for performance and reliability.
Implement data quality validation rules and checks.
Monitor and improve database performance metrics.
Support regulatory data flows and compliance.
Build scalable data pipelines using Azure services.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders.

Requirements

8+ years of professional experience.
Experience with MS SQL and database performance optimization.
Proactive in designing solution proposals.
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio.
Experience with reporting tools like PowerBI or Tableau (nice to have).
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and NoSQL databases (nice to have).
