Senior Software Test Engineer (Sr. SDET) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Test Engineer (Sr. SDET) role focuses on delivering efforts at the Costa Rica center to ensure full regression and performance test coverage for ongoing Accela Civic Platform (SaaS) releases, while advancing Accela’s maturity in Test Automation, Test-Driven Development, CI/CD, and Performance Engineering.

In Short

• Accountable for the successful launch and delivery of new Accela Product Releases.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases to ensure software quality.
• Automate API and UI testing using Python and Robot Framework.
• Participate in Agile team activities including daily scrums.
• Contribute to functional, performance, and automation initiatives.
• Author and execute test cases for all release cycles.
• Familiar with monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and testing techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of frontend and backend applications.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
