Senior Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

As a key member of the FP&A team at Accela, you will oversee the financial performance of various segments of the worldwide business. You will collaborate with other finance team members and partners across the organization to perform analyses and reporting that will enhance the decision-making process at the company. This role will enable Accela and its budget owners to meet financial objectives by driving revenue and profitability while controlling costs.

In Short

• Design and refine detailed financial models to forecast and analyze costs.
• Support monthly close processes including variance analysis.
• Lead corporate finance efforts on annual budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare internal and external management reporting.
• Own and improve Workday Adaptive for data accuracy.
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Provide timely ad hoc reporting to executive management.
• Drive the development of Corporate FP&A process improvements.
• Availability during Pacific time zone working hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in FP&A or related fields.
• Outstanding analytical skills with data simplification ability.
• Software or SaaS company experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with presentation experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in financial modeling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
• Experience with large datasets and business intelligence skills.
• Use of Power BI or data visualization tools is a plus.
