Overview

The Business Value Consultant is a critical member of Abnormal’s sales organization. This individual will serve as the financial and business value subject matter expert, on cross-functional sales teams engaged with our Fortune 500 customers, and is responsible for delivering a structured analysis of business outcomes focused on cybersecurity and transformational investment opportunities.

In Short

  • Lead cross-functional teams with important customers and senior experts.
  • Facilitate customer discovery sessions to identify business value drivers.
  • Develop relationships with field sales and pre-sales leaders.
  • Enable value selling and self-service assessments.
  • Provide coaching and contribute to team thought leadership.
  • Contribute to program evolution and scale with innovation.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in a Customer Facing, Cybersecurity role.
  • Experience in value-based sales or consulting.
  • Knowledge of Value based Sales Methodologies.
  • Experience in consultative discovery and business case development.
  • Knowledge of business and technology challenges in cybersecurity.
  • Deep financial modeling and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and participate in varied projects.
  • Proven ability to build consensus in a remote team environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding presentation communication skills.
