Engineer, Adobe Experience Manager - Remote

Overview

The AEM engineer provides leadership, direction and implementation on technical projects that affect all A&F consumer brand ecommerce sites. In this role, you will work within a team to implement new features and functionality as well as maintain, support and upgrade existing functionality. In addition, you will utilize prior AEM experience to identify and implement improvements in current technology implementations.

• Participate in the implementation of AEM related features.
• Building AEM components and templates as needed.
• Implement rapid updates to fulfil changing business and marketing requirements.
• Develop functional and technical documentation and designs for assigned projects.
• Work within a team environment, supporting the team goals.
• Develop code consistent with A&F standard coding practices.
• Ensure implementations meet scalability and reliability requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues with business partners and support teams.
• Follow Agile-Scrum software development methodology.
• Continuously improve IT platforms based on retail technology trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in AEM 6.x development.
• Knowledge of AEM architecture and technology.
• Experience with AEM workflows customization.
• Good understanding of AEM's security and Access Controls.
• 3+ years of Java/J2EE development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD - git, Jenkins, Maven.
• Basic SQL query skills.
• Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
