Overview

The Senior Site Contract Manager in Purchasing & Supplier Management is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of various clinical agreements and related documents, working closely with R&D teams and external parties.

In Short

• Accountable for timely preparation and execution of Clinical Study Agreements (CSAs) and related contracts.
• Negotiate site agreements and budgets with investigator sites.
• Maintain and track necessary documentation as per AbbVie requirements.
• Manage communication and priorities with stakeholders in alignment with study planning.
• Lead process improvement projects within the Contract Management function.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Collaborate with Country Operations Managers to resolve contract-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
• At least 5 years of clinical research or contract experience.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in English and local language.
• Experience in financial and budget management is desirable.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive team player with problem-solving skills.
• Experience in line or matrix management is a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency and goal orientation.
