Overview

The Senior Manager of Statistical Programming is a leadership role which manages a team of statistical programmers in the research and development of new pharmaceutical products.

In Short

  • Manages a team of statistical programmers and resource planning.
  • Ensures timely deliverables and adherence to quality processes.
  • Develops SAS programs for ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.
  • Creates documentation for regulatory filings.
  • Leads the development of standard SAS Macros.
  • Mentors and creates career development plans for staff.
  • Participates in recruitment and selection of new staff.
  • In-depth understanding of drug development process.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and represent the organization in cross-functional teams.
  • Estimates effort for project-related programming activities.

Requirements

  • MS in Statistics, Computer Science or related field with 9+ years of experience, or BS with 11+ years.
  • Minimum 2 years experience leading a team of statistical programmers.
  • In-depth understanding of SAS programming and CDISC Standards.
  • Experience with regulatory filings.
  • Strong communication skills.
