Senior Clinical Research Associate - Oncology - Remote

Overview

The Senior CRA will enable AbbVie’s emergence as a world class R&D organization, playing a key role in ensuring successful protocol level execution of SMM deliverables involving start-up, execution, and close-out of studies.

In Short

• Ensure successful protocol level execution of SMM deliverables for assigned sites/studies.
• Conduct monitoring visits, site evaluations, and site selection.
• Identify site issues affecting timelines and develop solutions.
• Maintain clinical trial management systems with site-specific information.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, GCPs, and quality standards.
• Prepare for and follow up on site audits/inspections.
• Coach and mentor CRAs, providing input into their development.
• Participate in global/local task forces and initiatives.
• Identify training needs and standardize training solutions for SMM monitors.
• Responsible for remote data review of assigned sites/studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Site Monitoring Experience.
• Health Related degree (Medical, Scientific, Nursing, Pharmacy) preferred.
• Experience in oncology therapeutic area preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive team player with strong planning and organizational skills.
• High level of flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated business ethics and integrity.
