Director, Data and Analytics - Remote

Overview

The Director, Data & Analytics is a senior role with a strategic mandate to oversee the development and deployment of data and analytics capabilities across the AbbVie Endocrinology Inc. (AEI) function. This role involves high-level engagement with functional business leaders, translating analytics demands into comprehensive roadmaps, and guiding the adoption of data-driven decision-making within the organization.

• Envision and articulate the overarching strategy for data and analytics within AEI.
• Lead the development of integrated data and analytics roadmaps.
• Oversee the translation of business needs into data and analytics solutions.
• Champion the adoption and utilization of data assets and analytics products.
• Direct the governance of data processes.
• Maintain the infrastructure necessary for advanced AEI analytics.
• Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning and agile ceremonies.
• Monitor and report on the health and value of data assets.
• Provide visionary leadership for the data and analytics teams.
• Build and maintain a high-performance culture within the data and analytics teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or related business function.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven expertise in data analytics and strategic capability development.
• Experience developing strategic roadmaps for digital transformation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
