Overview

The Clinical Research Associate II will advance AbbVie's pipeline by ensuring excellence in clinical research, partnering with investigators and site staff, and focusing on the conduct of clinical trials.

• Primary contact for investigative sites in clinical trials.
• Aligns and trains site staff on clinical trial goals.
• Conducts site evaluations and ensures compliance with protocols.

• Mentors less experienced CRAs.
• Performs continuous risk assessments and monitors site activities.
• Ensures quality and timely submission of data from study sites.
• Identifies potential investigators and sites for clinical studies.
• Maintains audit readiness at assigned clinical sites.
• Manages investigator payments as per contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; health-related preferred.
• 1 year of clinically related experience, with 6 months in clinical research monitoring.
• Knowledge of therapeutic areas and scientific concepts related to clinical trials.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and GCP guidelines.
• Strong collaboration skills among stakeholders.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to leverage technology for customer-centric support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical thinking and good judgment in clinical site issues.
• Integrity in accordance with AbbVie’s code of conduct.
