Overview

AbbVie Information Security is looking for an experienced and skilled leader to join the Vulnerability Management (VM) team. AbbVie’s Vulnerability Management team protects AbbVie’s patients, data, and brand by identifying vulnerabilities and threats to our organization and working to drive remediation of identified security risks. Vulnerability Management is a capability of AbbVie’s Attack Surface Management team and sits within the larger Cyber Security Operations (CSO) function. Join us as Associate Director, Vulnerability Management to lead and improve our efforts to identify, understand, and reduce AbbVie’s attack surface and help our business continue to have a remarkable impact on people’s lives.

In Short

• Manage and mature a comprehensive vulnerability management program.
• Lead a high-performing Vulnerability Management team.
• Oversee configuration and management of key vulnerability tools.
• Develop and implement key performance metrics.
• Maintain awareness of critical vulnerabilities and emerging threats.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to drive remediation.
• Manage external exposure methodology.
• Communicate technical security concepts to stakeholders.
• Create and modify vulnerability management reports.
• Identify enhancements to tools and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree and 9 years experience OR Masters Degree and 8 years experience OR PhD and 4 years experience.
• Proven track record in information security roles.
• Experience managing teams focused on vulnerability management.
• Advanced understanding of vulnerability management strategies.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based hosting platforms.
• Experience with data analytics with large datasets.
• Experience in reporting metrics to senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.
