Associate Director, Initiative Management - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Initiative Management drives global, complex, cross-functional process and productivity improvement projects for Development that support the organization’s strategic objectives.

In Short

• Establishes and implements improvement methodologies and governance structure.
• Develops integrated project plans and effectiveness metrics.
• Accountable for change management processes.
• Responsible for problem solving and risk mitigation at a global level.
• Provides program management leadership across projects.
• Shares learning and collaborates with other Initiative PMs.
• Supports high performing project teams.
• Manages matrix teams and may have direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent.
• 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with project management experience.
• Developing leadership skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with global and regional teams preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading a global team.
• PMP, Change management, Lean Six Sigma experience desirable.
