Overview

The Associate Director, Site Contracting (AD) acts as the first line of contact for all R&D business partners and provides leadership to drive and implement the clinical strategy with a high level of expertise for multiple compounds across a large portfolio or therapeutic area (TA).

In Short

  • Acts as the first line of contact for R&D business partners.
  • Provides leadership for clinical strategy implementation.
  • Collaborates with Clinical Development Operations, finance, legal, and other stakeholders.
  • Manages multiple direct and indirect reports across regions.
  • Leads measurement and communication of functional performance.
  • Oversees CSA Budget and Contract delivery.
  • Acts as Compliance Manager for FMV process.
  • Independently manages expectations and mitigates risks.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to develop team members.
  • Serves as a liaison for the Site Contracting team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Health Care, business, or scientific discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in clinical research and/or contracting.
  • People management experience and ability to influence leaders.
  • Strong abilities in Contract Management.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports and/or virtual teams.
  • Organizational skills necessary for prioritization.
  • System skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
