Overview

The Account Specialist role promotes a product to community practices and health systems, developing and maintaining relationships with various accounts in the healthcare sector.

In Short

  • Promote products to meet/exceed sales goals.
  • Comply with company policies and manage field assets.
  • Identify customer needs and address them with AbbVie resources.
  • Deliver anatomical/procedural information and training.
  • Provide education and clinical training for healthcare personnel.
  • Collaborate with other specialists to promote products.
  • Utilize sales and data resources to enhance productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred.
  • Five years of technical experience with three years in sales preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex sales and communicate effectively.
  • Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products preferred.
  • Ability to lift/pull training models and meet credentialing requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
  • Documented history of strong sales performance preferred.
