Business and Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

Abacus Insights is looking for a Business and Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience working with Healthcare Administration software and associated data sets. This role focuses on key requirements decomposition and producing detailed design and analysis documentation critical to client implementation success.

In Short

• Participate in consulting engagements with clients to improve operational performance.
• Analyze business requests and develop systemic solutions related to healthcare claims and management.
• Conduct on-site planning and requirements gathering sessions.
• Develop designs for modifications to existing platform components.
• Evaluate new technologies and platforms as needed.
• Communicate technical concepts to both business and technical personnel.
• Assist with QA and application support for clients.
• Perform process analysis and implement improvements.
• Analyze data to validate quality and identify trends.
• Support additional duties as agreed with management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Healthcare Administration software.
• Experience with SQL, Databricks, and/or Snowflake.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Capacity to build and manage relationships with teams.
• Motivation to solve existing problems and anticipate new issues.
• Ability to positively impact process management.
