Overview

As a Senior Actuary in the Finance department at Nationwide, you will lead and conduct experience studies across a broad range of products, focusing on life insurance assumptions, while collaborating cross-functionally and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics.
• FSA certification required.
• At least eight years of actuarial experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with R or Python is a plus.
• Background in life insurance or annuity products is desirable.
• Knowledge of industry and regulatory practices.
