As an Actuarial Specialist in Nationwide’s Pet business unit, you will utilize your analytical expertise to design and price products that provide real value to pet owners, contributing to customer satisfaction and business success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Progress toward ACAS designation.
• 1-3 years of actuarial experience, ideally in P&C insurance.
• Technical skills in actuarial software and Microsoft Office.
• Programming knowledge in R, Python, or SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Participation in the Actuarial Rotation Program is optional.
