Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer will function as an integrated member of the regional sales team, providing technical expertise and driving customer success through collaboration with sales, customer success, and solutions consulting teams.

In Short

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to co-own sales cycles.
  • Provide technical expertise and competitive differentiation.
  • Conduct technical presentations and live demonstrations.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges.
  • Assist in RFP responses and solution proposals.
  • Act as a technical consultant for customers.
  • Work with Customer Success and Product teams for feedback.
  • Address technical objections and ensure smooth adoption.
  • Represent 8x8 at industry events and conferences.
  • Travel within the region for partner and customer engagements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting in CX.
  • Experience in co-selling with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
  • Deep expertise in cloud communications and contact center platforms.
  • Ability to align technology to business outcomes.
  • Experience with integration technologies and development work is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) within the region.
