Join a team that puts its People First! As an ETL Engineer at First American, you will support the design, mapping, development, and testing of data movement for a data warehouse environment, focusing on the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process.

In Short

• Develop high-quality ETL applications using Transact-SQL and other ETL environments.
• Collaborate with data architects to review and profile source system data.
• Monitor and tune ETL application performance.
• Maintain best-practice standards and procedural guidelines.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours ETL support.
• 1+ year of experience in a data warehousing environment.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for data processing.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform data services.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in data warehousing.
• Strong experience in ETL design and development.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 2+ years of experience with Transact-SQL.
• Experience with ETL tools like Microsoft SSIS and Informatica.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services.
• Experience integrating data across hybrid environments.
• Constantly updating personal technical knowledge.
