As a Performance Engineer at Salesforce, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our products, focusing on both UI and backend services to enhance user experience and system efficiency.

In Short

Develop AI-based tools to address performance issues.
Investigate performance anomalies and collaborate with engineering teams.
Lead performance analysis and optimization for Tableau services.
Implement metrics generation for system characteristics.
Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve performance.
Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Participate in product design and performance evaluations.
Contribute to methodologies for performance evaluation.
Strong focus on web performance principles.
Work in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Requirements

Technical degree required.
5+ years of coding experience (Java/C++/Python).
3+ years with TypeScript & JavaScript.
Deep understanding of web performance principles.
Expertise in NodeJS, React, HTML5, CSS, JSON, HTTP.
Experience with performance profiling tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Curiosity and willingness to question.
Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
Familiarity with NLP concepts is a plus.
