QAD is seeking a Performance Engineer to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our SaaS product running on Amazon EKS and our bare metal server-based product running in cloud environments.

In Short

Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for EKS-based SaaS and bare-metal environments.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure.
Conduct holistic analysis of server-side resources and key product areas.
Investigate and resolve complex performance issues affecting customers.
Develop performance testing scripts using JMeter, k6, or Python.
Write Linux scripts to extract meaningful performance data when required.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot performance issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product scalability.
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of experience in a performance engineering role.
Experience in performance testing tools.
Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and scripting.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve complex technical issues.
Experience in medium to large organizations with performance-focused roles.
Strong debugging skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
