Overview

The Senior Benefits and Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist provides benefit and leave of absence administration and employee support within a People Services function, focusing on Canada and US state leave knowledge.

In Short

• Serve as the primary liaison between Benefit and LOA vendors and Salesforce employees.
• Provide advice and guidance on Employee Benefits and Leave of Absence.
• Maintain proper case management for timely responses based on KPIs.
• Partner with global stakeholders to enhance employee experiences.
• Manage special projects requiring Benefit and LOA input.
• Assist in process and systems improvements for scalability.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements.
• Identify trends and recommend solutions for Benefit and LOA matters.
• Work independently and collaboratively with minimal guidance.
• SHRM Certification recommended.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in human resources.
• In-depth knowledge of leave of absence regulations.
• Experience in a centralized human resource function preferred.
• Adept at navigating ambiguity and multiple priorities.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make informed decisions based on policies and procedures.
• Collaborative approach with moderate guidance.
