Overview

The Senior VFX Coordinator acts as a liaison between artists, leads, and production, ensuring that artists have all necessary materials and direction to complete their tasks correctly and on schedule.

In Short

• Organize department reviews and track information.
• Ensure artists have necessary materials and direction.
• Schedule and assist in running meetings and reviews.
• Document all dailies, reviews, and meetings.
• Maintain and communicate weekly targets to artist teams.
• Check in with artists and leads regarding task statuses.
• Identify and solve potential roadblocks proactively.
• Manage farm priorities with production and render wrangler.
• Secure materials and forecast supply needs.
• Collaborate with a diverse team in a creative environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years in feature film or television, preferably in VFX or animation.
• 5+ years’ experience coordinating groups of people.
• Ability to plan and monitor progress across multiple departments.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Office software.
• Working knowledge of ShotGrid software.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
