U.S. CG Supervisor - Remote

Overview

Zoic Studios is currently seeking a CG Supervisor with Houdini Experience for immediate hire. This is a key position that will advise the VFX Supervisor and/or Creative Director regarding the technical and creative capabilities and limitations of the 3D team and work collaboratively to provide solutions.

In Short

• Short term booking with the possibility of extending (Winter 2025).
• Advise on 3D workflow to aid VFX Supervisor/Creative Director and Producer.
• Oversee the 3D look development of key shots/sequences.
• Communicate with relevant Supervisors and Production team members.
• Mentor and manage teams of artists.
• Attend dailies and administrative meetings as required.
• Provide artist performance feedback to direct reports.
• Evaluate workload vs. resources and provide delivery estimates.
• Collaborative leadership style focused on common goals.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience within live action VFX.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a 3D Supervisor.
• Expert knowledge in Houdini, Maya, and Vray.
• Working knowledge in Mari and Nuke.
• Experience in all aspects of the 3D Pipeline.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities or new technology.
• Must provide up to date reel and resume showcasing skills.
