We’re looking for a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead and scale our accounting operations while serving as a key partner in strategic financial decision-making. Reporting directly to our Finance leader, this role is ideal for a CPA with lending or servicing experience who thrives in dynamic, fast-growth environments - equally comfortable in the weeds of the general ledger and at the table for strategic planning.

In Short

• Own all corporate accounting operations, including GL and revenue recognition.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Manage external audit relationships.
• Develop internal dashboards for insights.
• Collaborate on corporate budgeting and planning.
• Design robust internal controls aligned with SOC 1.
• Oversee accounting treatment for loan originations.
• Lead accounting system upgrades.
• Support a growing national footprint.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Active CPA license with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP.
• Deep experience with internal controls and SOC 1 readiness.
• Proven track record leading ERP implementations.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Clear communicator with executive presence.
• Prior experience in consumer lending.
• A builder mindset: thrives in ambiguity.
