Senior BI Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior BI Analyst will analyze data and build data models to enable data-driven decision making within Zing Health, a tech-enabled health insurance company focused on improving Medicare Advantage for seniors.

• Analyze data and build data models.
• Develop and maintain HEDIS based reports.
• Provide analytic support for quality and operational improvement.
• Coordinate onboarding of new data files.
• Identify and resolve data and technical issues.
• Document data flow and create data design diagrams.
• Communicate findings to non-technical partners.
• Research business problems and identify cost improvements.
• Present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts on best practices.

Requirements

• BA or BS in IT, Information Systems or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Information Technology or BI.
• 3+ years in clinical quality or health data analytics.
• 2+ years of experience with healthcare payers preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft tools and SQL.
• Understanding of Azure data warehouse and Synapse.
• Familiarity with BI and Reporting Platforms.
• Knowledge of automation tools preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
