Overview

As a B2B Retail Account Manager, you will play a central role in the strategic expansion of partnerships in the drugstore and grocery retail sectors, responsible for maintaining and developing existing key accounts while actively identifying new business opportunities.

In Short

  • Identify and develop strategic key accounts in the drugstore and grocery retail sectors.
  • Build new business relationships and actively explore new sales channels.
  • Create individual account plans considering forecasts, budgeting, and market potential.
  • Professionally manage existing retail partners and build long-term, trusting relationships.
  • Prepare and conduct annual discussions and negotiations.
  • Present and train internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitive activities.
  • Create meaningful KPI tracking and reporting for account performance management.
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally with Brand, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
  • Proactively contribute ideas and shape processes.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Key Account Management or Retail Management.
  • Solid knowledge in B2B marketing and the retail sector, preferably in drugstore or grocery retail.
  • Experience with CRM systems and other relevant industry tools.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in a retail environment.
  • Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented work style.
  • Experience in the international retail market is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of another foreign language and experience in cross-departmental collaboration are advantageous.
