E-Commerce Finance Manager & Controller - Remote

Overview

As an E-Commerce Finance Manager & Controller at NATURTREU, you will ensure our financial processes are as transparent and healthy as our products. Your role focuses on building scalable financial processes that keep pace with our dynamic D2C expansion, particularly in managing payment reconciliations and cashflow modeling.

In Short

• Develop and automate financial planning, forecasts, and cashflow models.
• Provide management with actionable analyses through 'Report by Exception'.
• Manage end-to-end receivables reconciliation between sales channels and DATEV.
• Implement scalable processes for payment processing and accounting.
• Create accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with HGB accounting and relevant VAT regulations.
• Work closely with C-level executives to transform complex data into actionable insights.
• Optimize interfaces between inventory management, shop systems, and accounting.
• Proactively manage liquidity and cashflow.
• Communicate complex financial issues clearly and effectively.

Requirements

• Completed business studies with a focus on finance/controlling or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in finance, ideally in E-Commerce or D2C environments.
• Deep understanding of receivables accounting in E-Commerce.
• Excellent Excel skills, particularly in financial modeling.
• Solid knowledge of HGB accounting and VAT issues in international trade.
• Experience with JTL is a plus.
• Familiarity with BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Experience in building controlling departments in startups or scale-ups is desirable.
• Proactive and solution-oriented work style with a focus on process optimization.
• Ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly.
