Sr. Software Engineer - Open Platform - Remote

Overview

As a Backend Engineer on the Open Platform team, your mission is to build the foundational services that will grow Yalo’s SaaS capabilities. You will be central to building and maintaining a self-service platform that enables any builder—internal or external—to create an account, connect necessary channels, and launch working solutions within minutes instead of weeks.

In Short

• Own complex problems and lead the execution of their solutions.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain reliable and secure distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure Yalo remains at the cutting edge.
• Share responsibility for maintaining the operational well-being of the company.
• Collaborate closely with our Staff Engineers to discover new problems and decipher them.

Requirements

• 7+ years of general experience in the technology industry.
• Strong experience with Go, Java, JavaScript or other widely used programming languages.
• Strong experience building and maintaining reliable distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge about Cloud Native technologies e.g Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong knowledge about Computer Science fundamentals e.g Networking, Databases, Storage, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
• Proactiveness.
