As a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Lab Informatics at Xyme, you will build and optimise the data infrastructure that powers our laboratory operations, enabling scientists to manage and leverage experimental data effectively.

In Short

Design, develop, and maintain data models and workflows for laboratory information management systems.
Create and optimise ELT pipelines for data transformation.
Build automated systems for managing ontologies and data structures.
Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
Develop analytical applications and dashboards for scientists.
Optimise the DMTL pipeline to reduce design and learning time.

Requirements

3–5+ years in data modelling and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
Proficiency with cloud databases and analytics platforms.
Experience with LIMS platforms and custom Python applications.
Collaboration experience with laboratory scientists.
Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools.
Knowledge of AWS services.
