Technical Documentation Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Technical Documentation Engineer is responsible for managing technical documents, supporting engineers in report writing, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

In Short

• Update, review, and manage technical documents.
• Support engineers in testing report writing and document preparation.
• Create Engineering Change Request (ECR) forms.
• Standardize engineering documentation processes.
• Review PCB designs and make necessary updates.
• Organize engineering data in SAP and other ERP systems.
• Prepare supporting documents for ECR and customer approval.
• Coordinate with sourcing teams for technical documents.
• Improve technical documentation standards and templates.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing and documentation management.
• Experience with Electrical EDA and Mechanical CAD tools.
• Good understanding of electrical/electronic testing.
• Familiarity with BOM, DMS, PLM/ERP systems.
• Experience in Engineering Change Management.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese or Vietnamese is a plus.
• Experience with Power Query, Python/VBA is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools.
• Detail-oriented and passionate about continuous improvement.
