Application Engineer - Injection Molding - Remote

Overview

Xometry is seeking a driven and technically minded Application Engineer, Injection Molding to join our team. In this role, you'll be a critical link between our customers, sales team, and engineering efforts, supporting a diverse range of industries including aerospace, defense, commercial, automotive, industrial, and medical devices.

In Short

• Analyze and Prepare RFQs from various channels.
• Engage proactively with customers to clarify requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews of 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Perform basic file modifications using CAD software.
• Maintain and update quote databases in real-time.
• Respond to service requests via ZenDesk and email.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Sales teams.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a technology field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Magics).
• Demonstrated technical aptitude in manufacturing technologies.
• Vocational training or experience in injection molding.
• Familiarity with die casting, stamping, and metal extrusion is a plus.
