Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Medium Range Targets program office, working on developing the next generation of reentry vehicles, rocket motors, and countermeasures for missile defense systems.

In Short

• Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Medium Range Targets program.
• Provide technical and engineering analysis for MDA flight requirements.
• Participate in system requirements reviews and create/update specifications.
• Support requirements development and functional allocation.
• Review and analyze engineering designs and program status.
• Coordinate multi-domain reviews of design artifacts.
• Maintain an active Secret Clearance.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in a configuration-controlled environment.
• Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve problems.
• Experience in writing and presenting engineering plans.
• Understanding of system interface requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Experience reviewing system engineering documentation.
• Works independently or in teams.
• Experience in a configuration-controlled environment.
