Senior Security Control Assessor (SCA) - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for a talented Lead / Senior Security Control Assessor (SCA) to join our growing team! In this role you will manage a team of thirteen (13) SCA's located in the Chantilly/Northern Virginia region, and act as the POC between the SCAs and the Government stake-holder.

In Short

• Manage a team of Security Control Assessors.
• Provide information security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support.
• Enhance Information System security awareness.
• Develop and implement procedures for product testing.
• Perform information systems assessment and authorization.
• Utilize risk management strategies for IT solutions.
• Coordinate A&A activities of industry and Government information systems.
• Manage program and project implementation.
• Ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
• Act as an IS liaison between Directorates and various Offices.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Leadership / management experience.
• Experience developing security directives for IA, IT, and IM.
• Active IAM Level III certification.
• Ability to manage multiple large scale systems.
• In-depth understanding of IT systems, software, and networks.
• Effective technical report writing ability.
• Knowledge of security performance evaluation concepts.
• Technical understanding of emerging technologies.
