Overview

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Security Control Assessor (SCA) to join our growing team, providing critical information security assessment and authorization support.

In Short

• Provide information security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support.
• Enhance Information System (IS) security awareness.
• Develop and implement procedures for product testing.
• Perform information systems assessment as defined in applicable guidance.
• Utilize risk management strategies for IT solutions.
• Coordinate A&A activities of industry and Government information systems.
• Manage program and project implementation.
• Contribute to department goals and planning efforts.
• Must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Work in a collaborative environment focused on defense, security, and intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Non-degreed candidates require 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in developing and implementing security directives.
• Active IAM Level III certification (must obtain/maintain within 6 months).
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale systems involved in the A&A process.
• In-depth understanding of IT systems, software, and networks.
• Effective technical report writing abilities.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in Government systems.
• Technical understanding of IT concepts for evaluating security performance.
• Strong project management skills.
