Overview

BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, is seeking a talented Senior CAD Designer / Drafter to support bridge design for major transportation infrastructure projects.

In Short

• Coordinate with licensed engineers for project designs and drawings.
• Prepare project drawings for various types of bridges and structures.
• Utilize standard drafting/design principles to ensure accuracy.
• Work from specifications, sketches, and models to create detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure cohesive design.
• Present design solutions in internal project meetings.
• Stay updated with industry CADD standards and best practices.
• Manage personal and team career development through feedback and mentorship.
• Complete time sheets and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in marketing campaigns and provide resume updates.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in infrastructure and bridge drafting.
• Proficiency in Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Experience with FDOT projects.
• No security clearance required.
