Senior Biomarker Repository Technician - Remote

Overview

The Senior Biomarker Repository Technician will provide research support administration services, assisting in the development and execution of protocols for biomarker verification in various laboratory environments.

In Short

• Assist in the development and execution of biomarker verification protocols.
• Perform experiments in BSL-2, BSL-3, and BSL-4 environments.
• Conduct next-generation sequencing and other molecular diagnostic techniques.
• Prepare technical reports and manuscripts for publication.
• Manage and analyze biomarker data.
• Train new laboratory members in project-specific techniques.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS to support diagnostic missions.
• Serve as laboratory supervisor ensuring safety and functionality.
• Contribute to Biomarker Quarterly and Annual Reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in small animal handling.
• Experience with cell culture and handling biological samples.
• Proficiency in molecular techniques including NGS library preparation.
• Experience working in BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratories.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance.
