Overview

Parsons is seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in enterprise software development to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Lead team scrums to define product vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts to align product roadmap.
• Create and maintain product backlog according to business value.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices for agile project management.
• Develop detailed product feature specifications.
• Assess value and prioritize stories and themes.
• Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals.
• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally.
• Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Drive product strategy and alignment with mission objectives.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in product development.
• In-depth knowledge of agile methodology.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage conflicting stakeholder needs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related discipline (preferred).
• Proficiency with project management tools (preferred).
