Overview

BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, is seeking a talented Field Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.

In Short

• Prepare construction inspection summaries of daily activities.
• Review drawings and specifications for constructability.
• Track completed work quantities for payment.
• Manage a team of inspectors and coordinate their schedules.
• Monitor traffic control plans and identify potential issues.
• Oversee project sampling and testing of materials.
• Inform clients on project issues and provide recommendations.
• Maintain construction project records in accordance with FDOT procedures.
• Direct and assign tasks to inspectors.
• Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
• Minimum of a Civil Engineering degree with two years of experience.
• Registered in Florida as a professional engineer or ability to obtain registration.
• Experience in bridge construction and project administration.
• Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level II certification.
• FDOT Advanced MOT certification.
• Completion of relevant training courses.
