Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deputy Design Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll have the privilege of working on the premier Infrastructure project in the Country, focusing on enhancing commuter and intercity rail services.

In Short

• Work on the Gateway Program, a major rail investment initiative.
• Oversee design activities for Heavy Commuter Rail Systems.
• Manage project planning, concept development, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project requirements and standards.
• Support value engineering and design optimization efforts.
• Coordinate with construction teams for project transitions.
• Lead a design team and manage resources effectively.
• Maintain excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years of related work experience, including managerial experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Extensive experience in design management for tunneling or underground projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bentley.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• No security clearance required.
