Senior Program Manager, Transit and Rail - Remote

Overview

AECOM is seeking a Senior Program Manager for its East Region Class I Railroad Team, focusing on large-scale transit and rail projects while working remotely.

In Short

• Manage complex, large-scale projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop and implement project management methodologies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
• Manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost control.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering or similar field plus 10 years of related experience.
• US Citizenship required due to project specifications.
• Experience in Transit - Rail projects.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with Class I Railroads is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of industry-standard software (MicroStation, MathCAD).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
