Senior Refrigeration Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Refrigeration Engineer will provide consulting engineering services for the design, implementation, and close-out of commercial refrigeration installations, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

In Short

• Provide consulting engineering services for refrigeration installations.
• Design based on client requirements and specifications.
• Proficient in heat load calculations and various modeling software.
• Manage all project stages from inception to close-out.
• Formulate Bills of Quantities (BOQ’s) and manage tender documentation.
• Ensure quality control and site supervision.
• Troubleshoot existing installations and manage costs.
• Promote health and safety standards in line with company policies.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player.
• Willing to travel abroad as required.

Requirements

• B Eng / BSc / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professional registration with ECSA and SARACCA.
• 3 - 5 years of experience as a consulting engineer in commercial refrigeration.
• Experience in HVAC design and commissioning is advantageous.
• Proficient in Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360).
• Strong communication and problem resolution skills.
• Code B driver’s license and preferably own car.
• Located in Johannesburg or willing to relocate.
