Payroll Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

Wrapbook is seeking a Payroll Operations Specialist to provide administrative and customer service support for payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll remittance and corrections.

In Short

• Handle day-to-day payroll processing from calculations to remittances.
• Triage and troubleshoot US and Canadian payroll issues.
• Provide payroll support to internal teams, clients, and workers.
• Process payroll corrections related to taxable wages and overpayments.
• Calculate and audit forms T4 & T4 Summary.
• Document processes and maintain SOPs.
• Resolve banking reconciliations and client notifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve inquiries.
• Identify areas of improvement and suggest enhancements.
• Process corrections related to worker classifications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of end-to-end multi-state payroll processing experience.
• 3+ years of Canadian payroll experience preferred.
• Entertainment industry payroll experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
