Higher Education Course Instructor - Remote

Overview

A WorldStrides Higher Education Instructor is hired on a per-term basis to run online courses for experiential learning program participants. This is a seasonal, remote role, that will be contracted for courses between May 1-August 31.

In Short

• Run online courses for experiential learning.
• Seasonal role contracted from May 1 to August 31.
• Receive syllabus and course materials prior to the start.
• Maintain communication with students via updates.
• Grade student work within 3 business days.
• Contact students with missing assignments.
• Respond to student questions in a timely manner.
• Report any student issues to the Academics team.
• Participate in training for course content and LMS.
• Work remotely.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher.
• College teaching experience.
• Interest in academic support initiatives.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience with online instruction preferred.
• Experience with LMS preferred.
• Experience in experiential learning programming preferred.
