Overview

The MEAL Advisor plays a crucial role in supporting World Relief's mission by guiding the quality of reach and impact reporting, providing technical assistance, and enhancing the MEAL department's effectiveness.

In Short

• Provide technical assistance on monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL).
• Support country offices in monthly reporting and capacity building.
• Operationalize World Relief's MEAL frameworks and strategy.
• Conduct training and capacity development for country office staff.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards for data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with various teams to enhance program quality and impact.
• Develop comprehensive monitoring and evaluation plans for new projects.
• Promote sensitive data collection and analysis practices.
• Coordinate the MEAL Community of Practice for knowledge exchange.
• Support continuous improvement of MEAL practices and resources.

Requirements

• Mature Christian faith and commitment to World Relief's mission.
• Strong cross-cultural relationship-building skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in fragile or conflict-affected areas.
• Minimum of 5 years in international development MEAL roles.
• Willingness to travel to program countries, including insecure locations.
